In October 2025, Manitoba issued 862 invitations to skilled worker candidates through its Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This is the first draw of October 2025. This latest round targeted individuals employed in priority sectors, especially healthcare and roles tied to home support and caregiving. Why Some Candidates Did Not Get an Invitation

A few applicants who met the selection criteria may not have received an invitation (LAA) for these reasons:

Missing or expired third-party language test numbers in their Expression of Interest (EOI).
Failing to provide a valid invitation number for those claiming eligibility under strategic recruitment.
Regulated professionals were also required to show a valid Manitoba license and proof that they had completed the mandatory licensing steps
