IRCC Invites 4,500 Candidates in September 4 Express Entry Draw

The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), on September 4, invited 4,500 candidates to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry draw focusing on individuals with strong French language proficiency.
In order to be eligible for this draw, candidates need to be proficient in French, requiring a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 446. Eligible profiles had to be created before 7:21 a.m. UTC on June 16, 2025.

The Express Entry held today is the third draw in September, following earlier draws for the Canadian Experience class on September 3 and the Provincial Nominee Program on September 2 and a category-based selection for Healthcare and social services workers on August 19. In 2025 so far, IRCC has issued 62,109 ITAs through the Express Entry system.
The primary focus of this year has been on draws for Provincial Nominee Program applicants with additional invitations for Canadian Experience Class (CEC), French-language proficiency, and those in priority occupation categories like healthcare and education.
