Predictions for Next Express Entry Draw in September 2025 and Beyond
1. The expected next Express Entry draw date for September 2025 is around the 2nd and 3rd; however, this might be adjusted by IRCC due to the holiday, with subsequent rounds predicted to be held sound September 9-10, 16-17, 23-24, and 30.
2. A high probability is that the Trades category-based draw might be held in September, as no ITAs have been issued in 2025 in this category. Given the backlog probability, the 1st Trades category-based draw might be a large draw, inviting 3,000-4,000 candidates.
The targeted occupations in this category include carpenters, electricians, plumbers, welders, and cooks (NOC specific) with a possible CRS cutoff of around 450-470.
3. Healthcare professionals could have a chance of another category-based draw with about 1,000-2,000 ITAs shared to candidates with a cut-off around 470.
4. The Education category could also have another category based draw inviting about 1,000 candidates above the predicted CRS cutoff of 480.
5. For CEC candidates, the draws are predicted to witness a stable momentum with CRS ranging about 518 - 547, while PNP only draws are expected to shrink, have a smaller draw size of 200-300 ITA, and a CRS score cutoff at 750.
Overall, it is safe to say that September 2025 might have the opportunity of featuring 4-5 draws, sharing a total of 8,000 invites (estimated).
