As of October 8, 2025, IRCC released the latest processing times. IRCC processing times show when reunions, studies, and new careers begin for applicants. From 2022, Canada uses a dynamic, case-based tool that reflects the experience of 80% of applicants, meaning these numbers offer real-world expectations, not just theoretical government targets.
Note: Processing times are approximate, not guaranteed. Individual circumstances, like background checks, country of application, and IRCC’s operational capacity, can make cases shorter or longer than the posted timelines.
