IRCC Invites Candidates to Apply for Permanent Residency in Latest Draw

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 536 Invitations to Apply (ITA) in a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw held on March 17, 2025. Candidates to be eligible required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 736 and their Express Entry profile must have been submitted before 2:02 PM UTC on March 12, 2025.
This marks the 3rd Express Entry draw in March 2025, following a French Language Proficiency draw on March 6 and another PNP draw on March 3. Throughout 2025 IRCC has alternated draws between Canadian Experience Class (CEC), PNP and French language candidates.
Earlier this year, larger draws were conducted, such as the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on February 5 which issued 4,000 ITAs with a CRS cutoff of 521. The French language draws on February 19 and March 6 also invited over 4,000 candidates each.
On February 27 IRCC introduced education as a new priority category for Express Entry in 2025. The updated priority categories include:
- French language proficiency
- Healthcare and social service occupations
- Trade occupations
- Education occupations
