Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has once again shared invites to candidates from the Express Entry pool. In the latest draw held on March 3, 2025, IRCC issued 725 Invitations to Apply (ITAs). It was a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) only draw and to qualify candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 667 Yet another requirement includes that their profiles must have been created before 6:25 PM UTC on June 5, 2024.
This is the first Express Entry draw for the month of March, following a series of targeted draws in February, which included French language proficiency draw, 2 PNP draws, and 2 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draws.
The past month has been particularly active for Canada's immigration system with IRCC issuing over 11,000 ITAs since the beginning of February. So far in 2025 Express Entry draws have largely favoured PNP and CEC candidates with IRCC conducting only one category based selection draw this year.
This trend highlights the increasing importance of provincial nomination and Canadian work experience in securing Canada PR invitations.
