IRCC Issues 4,500 ITAs in Latest Express Entry Draw for French Speaking Candidates

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another round of Express Entry draw issuing 4,500 Invitations to Apply (ITA) in a category based selection draw for candidates with French language proficiency
To qualify for this draw candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 410 and their Express Entry profiles must have been created before 7:47 AM. UTC on February 11, 2025.
The March 6 draw marks the second Express Entry draw of the month, following a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw held on March 3. So far, in 2025 Express Entry draws have primarily targeted candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and PNP streams aligning with IRCC Canada’s focus on prioritising In-Canada applicants.
This year there have been 4 PNP draws and 3 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draws so far. As of March 6, 2025 IRCC has conducted 2 category based selection draws under Express Entry, both for candidates with French language proficiency. The previous draw on February 19 saw 6,500 ITAs issued to candidates with advanced French language skills.
