Ontario, British Columbia & Quebec Invite Candidates to PR through PNP Draws

IRCC Canada update: 3 provinces in Canada issued provincial nominations to eligible candidates. Ontario and British Columbia had invited candidates under their Provincial Nominee Program i.e. OINP and BC PNP.
The updates to the week of September 14 - 20 Canada PNP Nominations have been detailed further.

Canada Provincial Immigration Results Week of September 14 - 20
The weekly Canada PNP updates for the week of September 14 - 20, 2024 are as follows:
Province 1: Ontario
In the September 17 Ontario PNP draw, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program issued invitations to candidates in Master’s Graduate and PhD Graduate Stream.
- For the 1,249 invitations shared with Master’s Graduates, candidates needed to have a minimum score of 53.
- While the selected 194 PhD Graduates candidates needed to have a minimum score of 45 for eligibility
The 2nd OINP draw that was held on September 19, 2024, under the Express Entry program targeted candidates in the Human Capital Priority Stream of OINP. A total of 1,424 candidates having CRS scores between the range of 505 - 528 received Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this draw.

Province 2: British Columbia
On September 17, British Columbia also held its PNP draw inviting 163 candidates to the provincial nomination.
Among the invited candidates the maximum number of them were of General draw ( Skilled Worker International Graduate) and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Level streams.
- The minimum score needed for general draw eligibility was set at 128.
- Candidates under the Entry Level and Semi Skilled Worker stream needed to have a score of 110 to be eligible.
The other draw for Skilled workers and International Graduates targeted specific occupations, namely:
- Childcare Occupations: 43 candidates invited, Minimum Score needed - 83
- Construction Occupations: 29 candidates invited, Minimum Score needed - 89
- Healthcare Occupations: 29 candidates invited, Minimum Score needed - 99

Province 3: Quebec
Quebec also published the provincial selection results for the Quebec Skilled Workers Program draw that was held earlier in month of September.
- A total of 1,417 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residency and the candidates needed to have a score above the CRS cutoff set for the draw at 575.
- The candidates also needed to have an oral French proficiency level of 7 and above as per Quebec’s scale of French proficiency
- Candidates having a job offer outside of the territory of Communaute Metropolitaine de Montreal were also considered.
