IRCC's Express Entry Update: 1,499 Candidates Receive Invitations in the Latest PNP Draw

In the latest Express Entry draw, IRCC issued 1,499 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) specifically for candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). To be considered, applicants needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 663.
This is the second Express Entry PNP draw of 2024, where 1499 candidates have been invited with a CRS score of 663. The first largest Express Entry Draw was conducted on May 30, 2024, where 2985 ITA’s were sent with a CRS score of 676.
The May 31, 2024 draw was focused on Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates, where 3000 ITAs were sent with a CRS score of 522.
The CEC draw was the first since September 2021. As many CEC candidates already live and work in Canada, this aligns with Canada's recent strategy to hold more domestic draws.
This strategy aims to transition temporary residents to permanent residents and reduce the overall number of temporary residents. The same applies to the PNP draw.
