Migration Tasmania has announced that, due to high demand, only candidates with a Gold Pass will be able to submit a registration of interest from 5:00 PM Monday 19 May 2025. The Gold Pass category applies to individuals who have a valid skill assessment and eligible employment in a critical role. This category will close on the 5:00 PM Monday 16 June 2025, and no further ROIs will be accepted for the remainder of the 2024 to 25 program year.
All the other candidates will need to wait until 2025 - 26 program to commence and the updates regarding this will be shared on the Migration Tasmania website.
Any nominations approved after the current allocation is exhausted, will be processed once Tasmania receives its 2025 - 26 nomination allocations. ROIs which were not invited from the program ends will continue to remain in the system and be considered when the new year begins.
