South Australia announces its 2025-26 GSM allocations with 1300 50 for subclass 190 and 900 for subclass 491 nomination places. ROIs are open for onshore applicants, while offshore candidates would be invited through EOI Australia via SkillSelect.
The Australian government has confirmed South Australia's nomination allocations for the 2025-26 General Skilled Migration program. The total number of allocations, including interim places, is as follows:
- Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated Visa: 1,350 nomination spots.
- Subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional Visa: 900 nomination spots
Registration of Interest (ROI) is now open for individuals currently living and working in South Australia, and offshore applicants do not need to submit an ROI, as they will be considered directly through their Expression of Interest (EOI Australia) submitted in SkillSelect
Applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria for all relevant streams before submitting an ROI.

- SMB can support only one variation per year of a labour agreement.
- No variation request will be accepted within the first six months after a new agreement has been executed.
