Canada Issues 1,000 Express Entry ITAs for 10 Transport Professions

In a groundbreaking move, Canada's IRCC conducted its inaugural Express Entry draw focused on transport occupations, inviting 1,000 candidates with a CRS score of 435.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted its first-ever category-specific selection draw targeting individuals with work experience in the transport sector. In the transport sector, a total of 10 occupations were targeted.

The move is driven by an urgent labor shortage within this industry, and it has garnered support from the Minister of Transport, Pablo Rodriguez, who emphasizes the sector's importance to the Canadian economy.

This marks the second express entry draw conducted for this week. The first all-program draw was held on September 19th, with 3200 ITAs sent out and a CRS score of 531.
