- Easier Permit Transactions: Individuals with other residence permits in Sweden can now transition to an EU Blue Card without leaving the country.
- Simplified Process for Card Holders from EU Countries: Workers with an EU Blue Card from another member state for at least 12 months, can apply for a Swedish Blue Card through a streamlined process.
- Faster Application Processing: The processing times for EU Blue Card applications is reduced to 30 days from previously 90 days.
