As per the recently released Canada Immigration Levels Plan 2025 - 2027, the annual allocations for Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) have been significantly reduced by 50%.
In light of this shift, PNPs that are integrated with the Express Entry System might become more favorable than the traditional Expression of Interest (EOI) PNP streams.
The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP) offers 3 streams that are directly aligned with the Express Entry system, allowing skilled workers to obtain provincial nominations that boost their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada.
A key advantage of these OINP streams is that candidates do not need to create a separate profile with the ONIP. Instead, Ontario actively monitors the Express Entry pool to identify the system.
Let us further delve into Ontario’s three Express Entry-aligned PNP streams to help potential applicants enhance their profiles and improve their chances of nomination.
