Skills Immigration Draw
Before this October draw, British Columbia had held a Skill Immigration draw on May 8, 2025. The October 2, 2025, BC PNP draw invited candidates under two criteria, namely:
Criteria 1: Must hold a minimum wage of CAD 90 per hour or CAD 175,000 annually, with a job offer falling under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3
Criteria 2: Must have a minimum score of 140 points in the BC PNP’s candidate scoring system

As per the latest update posted on BC PNP's official page, the future Skills Immigration draws could be based on factors like:
- Education
- Professional Designation in BC
- Language Proficiency
- Occupation
- Work Experience
- Wage and or skill level of job offer
- Intent to live, work, and settle in a specific region in British Columbia
- Strategic priorities, particularly factors that address specific labour market needs in BC or support government pilot projects and initiatives.

Entrepreneur Immigration Draw
British Columbia held its 7th Entrepreneur Immigration Draw through the BC PNPs Base Stream, in continuation of its efforts to attract entrepreneurs. The total number of ITAs shared was 11, with candidates who achieved a minimum score of 123.
To qualify for the Base Stream, the candidates are required to have a minimum registration score of 115, while the extended eligibility criteria for the draw include:
- Must have a personal net worth of at least CAD 600,000
- Must have business experience (3 years as a business owner, or 4 years as a senior manager, or 1 year as the former and 2 years as the latter in the last 10 years)
- Must have the ability to invest at least CAD 200,000 in the Business
- Language proficiency of CLB 4 or above
- Business ownership of at least 1/3 or 100% if using an educational credential instead of business experience
- Contribute to job creation for Canadian citizens or permanent residents
