IRCC Canada Grants Permanent Residency to 34,234 Candidates in July 2024

July 2024 turned out to be one of the busiest months for IRCC Canada. A total of 34,234 new permanent residents were shared invites in back-to-back express entry and PNP Canada draws.
The month of July was considered highly positive specifically for international students on Post Graduate Work Permit meeting the eligibility criteria.

Express Entry Draw Invitations
IRCC issued a total of 25,125 invitations in a total of 9 different Express Entry program draws in July. The summary of the July draws is as follows

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) shared invites to a total of 5,920 applicants to PR. The summary of OINP draws held in July 2024 is as follows:

Quebec invited a total of 1,560 applicants to PR. The draw details are as follows
- Applicants must have a minimum score of 579
- Occupation must be listed among the targeted 27 occupations
- Must have level 7 and above in French language proficiency.

Alberta PNP Invitations
Alberta PNP also known as Alberta Advantage Immigrant Program (AAIP) invites a total of 797 applicants in July 2024. The details are as follows:
