Highlights:
- IRCC holds its thirteenth Express Entry draw.
- ITAs issued: 4,800
- CRS score required: 488
Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada held its thirteenth Express Entry draw on May 24, 2023. 4,800 new invitations are sent to eligible candidates from all the application streams. This draw takes place after the PNP-specific draw on May 10, 2023.
This was the first all-program draw of this month. The last one was held on April 26, 2023. The CRS score for this draw has increased considerably from the CRS score required for the past few draws. For this draw, the candidates are required to have a CRS score of at least 488.
Previously this year, the IRCC had invited almost 21,000 candidates through the back-to-back all-program draws held in March, which had the second-highest number of ITAs issued in one month in the history of Express Entry.
This year has been remarkable for Express Entry draws, returning to the previous routine. Usually, the draws take place every two weeks, but the routine was broken during the Covid-19-related restrictions during the years 2020-2022.
Here is an overview of all the Express Entry draws that took place this year.
