Prince Edward Island Issues 39 More Invitations to Apply for Provincial Nomination

On July 17, 2025, The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) increased the invitations for foreign nationals to apply for provincial nomination. It issued 39 invitations to apply (ITAs) to candidates. The candidates who qualified in this program were invited based on:
- The ability to drive Prince Edward Island's economy by working in key industries that have the potential for growth and development.
- Their skills and expertise align with high-need jobs, helping to fill critical labour gaps and support economic stability.
Eligibility for Provincial Nomination Draws
In order to be eligible under this draw, candidates must:
- A full-time, permanent, non-seasonal job offer in an in-demand PEI occupation.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Age between 18 and 59 years.
- Minimum high school diploma.
- CLB 4 in English/French (valid test results from the last 2 years).
- Proof of sufficient settlement funds.
Note: Candidates who live outside of Canada are also considered for this draw, provided that their employer received proper authorisation from the PEI Office of Immigration prior to issuing a job offer.

Factors That Align with PEI’s Labour Market Demands
Other factors that align with the province’s economic and labor market needs are based on one or more of the following attributes:
- Language proficiency in English or French;
- Education, including the level, field of study, and location where it was completed;
- Occupational skill level and relevant work experience; and
- Additional factors related to employment prospects, which may include (but are not limited to) having a job offer in PEI and/or prior Canadian work experience.
