This latest draw targeted candidates through the Labour Impact and PEI Express Entry categories. Priority was given to individuals working in occupations that align with the provinces economic needs.

Understanding PEI Labour Impact Category 2025
The Labour Impact Category is designed for foreign nationals who have a valid, full time job offer from an eligible PEI employer. It serves as a pathway to Canadian permanent residency and consists of 3 streams, namely
- Skilled Workers Stream
- Critical Workers Stream
- International Graduate Stream
The eligibility criteria that applicants would need to meet to be qualified include:
- Must be of 21 to 59 years old
- Demonstrate sufficient settlement funds
- Meet a minimum Canadian language benchmark (CLB) of 4
- Hold a permanent, full time job offer in PEI
*Candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), which is not an application but an indication of interest. If selected and issued an ITA, they can then apply for a provincial nomination.
