New Brunswick invited 622 candidates through NBPNP and the Atlantic Immigration Program in draws held from March 3-6, 2026. Invitations targeted skilled workers in sectors like healthcare, education, construction, manufacturing, and transportation.
Between March 3 and March 6, 2026, the Government of New Brunswick conducted several immigration draws to invite eligible candidates for provincial nomination. These selections aimed to attract skilled workers who can support the province’s labour market needs.
Invitations were distributed across three streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP), with some streams including multiple pathways. In addition, candidates were also selected through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), focusing on applicants with experience in key priority sectors.
Breakdown of New Brunswick’s Latest Draw Results
In the latest round of selections, New Brunswick issued 622 invitations across several immigration pathways. Candidates were selected through multiple streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). All invited candidates had submitted their Expression of Interest (EOI) before March 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST.
New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream
The largest share of invitations was issued under the Skilled Worker Stream, accounting for roughly 45% of all invitations. Candidates were invited through two pathways and were prioritized based on their occupation sectors.

This stream targets foreign nationals who either work for a New Brunswick employer or hold a valid job offer in the province.
The eligibility requirements include:
- A full-time, non-seasonal job offer from an eligible New Brunswick employer.
- Relevant skills and professional experience required for the position.
- Meeting language proficiency and settlement criteria set by the province.
New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream
A total of 189 invitations were issued through the Strategic Initiative Stream, focusing primarily on French-speaking candidates. Applicants from all occupational sectors were eligible for this draw.

Only a small proportion of invitations, about 4%, were issued through the Express Entry Stream. Candidates were selected based on priority occupational sectors similar to those used in the Skilled Worker Stream.

This stream is linked to the federal Express Entry system and targets skilled professionals with active Express Entry profiles.
The requirements include:
- Living in New Brunswick for at least 12 months.
- Working full-time in a skilled and non-seasonal job for a local employer.
- Completing 12 months of eligible work experience in the province.
Candidates who receive a nomination through this stream gain 600 additional CRS points, greatly improving their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR.
Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
New Brunswick also issued 125 invitations through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), targeting candidates with experience in several priority sectors.
