IRCC Holds First Express Entry Draw of September, Invites 249 PNP Candidates

In September 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) organised its 363rd Express Entry draw of the year and first of the month. This draw is only focused on candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) category.

The PNP category awards candidates with provincial nominations, which grant an additional 600 CRS points, thereby significantly enhancing their chances of receiving an ITA. These draws are part of Canada’s strategy to meet regional labour market demands by inviting skilled workers nominated by provinces.

IRCC issued 249 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score needed was 772.
