Canada Releases 1st Set of Occupations for Permanent Residency Pathways

A Northern Ontario city, Timmins has released its list of priority sectors for 2 new Canada PR pathways i.e., the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP), prioritising roles in the following sectors
- Health
- Education, Law, Social, Community and Government Services
- Trades and Transport (excluding taxi dispatchers and drivers)
- Natural Resources and Agriculture
- Business, Finance and Administration
The city’s participation in both RCIP and FCIP highlights its proactive approach to attracting skilled workers and strengthening its local workforce.
