Canada Raises Fund Requirements to CAD 10,507 for Rural PR Pathways

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has increased the minimum settlement fund requirements for candidates applying for the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP)
As of July 29, 2025, immigrants are required to have a minimum of CAD 2,544 more as settlement funds to Immigrate through the rural immigration pathways.
For an individual, the minimum proof of funds required for Canada PR through rural pathways like RCIP and FCIP has increased to CAD 10,507 from the previous CAD 7,963, which is a notable 31.94% increase.
