Canada has announced the latest Express Entry draw results for foreign nationals applying for permanent residency (PR) through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 464 Invitations to Apply (ITA) in the most recent draw held on February 17, 2025. Applicants needed to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 750 to be eligible to participate in the draw.
The draw took place at 14:42:17 UTC and the tie breaking rule was set for July 23, 2024 at 17:41:11 UTC. This meant that if multiple candidates had the same lowest CRS score, priority was given to those who submitted their Express Entry profile before this date.
The February 17 draw is the third Express Entry draw conducted in the month of February 2025. The last Provincial Nominee Program draw occurred on February 4 2025 where 455 candidates were invited with a minimum CRS score of 802

How CRS Score Impacts the Express Entry Draws?
IRCC ranks candidates in the Express Entry pool using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, which evaluates factors such as age, education, work experience and language proficiency. Only those which goes above the draws cut off receives an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
The Express Entry draws typically occur every two weeks and the CRS score distribution fluctuates as new candidates enter the poll and existing profiles expire. If two or more candidates have the same lowest CRS score, the tie breaker rule prioritises those who submitted their profiles earlier.
