In July 2025, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) released more invitations to provincial immigration candidates. To be eligible for the Alberta Express Entry Stream, candidates are required to:
- Have a primary occupation in their Express Entry profile that falls under an eligible construction occupation.
- If you have a job offer from an Alberta employer, it should be in the qualifying construction occupation to be considered for the draw.
This year, the province will continue to extend invitations to its three main pathways, but it will prioritise candidates from key sectors like Construction, Agriculture, Aviation, and healthcare.
