Alberta has conducted two additional draws under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), extending invitations to eligible candidates. These rounds were targeted, prioritizing individuals with experience in selected sectors. Summary of AAIP Draws on 20 & 25 June
In the last 10 days of June, Alberta conducted two targeted draws through the AAIP. These draws were issued under separate immigration streams, each with its own selection criteria. The minimum scores for each stream varied based on candidate profiles and program priorities.

As of July 2, 2025, Alberta has issued 2,688 provincial nominations under the AAIP, leaving 2,187 spots remaining for the rest of the year. This indicates that nearly 55% of the province’s total 4,875 nomination quota has already been used to invite skilled candidates.
