Massive Surge: Over 5,000 Invitations Sent in Latest IEC 2024 Round

In the latest round of invitations for the IEC 2024 program, Canada has sent out more than 5,000 invitations across 3 categories.

For the week ending February 11, 2024, a total of 5000 invitations were sent, out of which 4,643 individuals have been invited to apply for open work permits under the IEC Working Holiday category.

This year over 33,000 invitations have already been issued for this category.

IEC 2024 aims to invite over 74,000 applicants from 35 eligible countries by the end of 2024. In this round, candidates in the Young Professional category received over 257 invitations for closed work permits, while those in the International Co-op (internship) category received 118.
