Provincial Immigration Nominations Issued in Latest Draws by British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec

This week, British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec issued invitations to immigration candidates through their respective PNP programs. British Columbia invited candidates in various occupational categories, Quebec invited 1,415 candidates with specific French proficiency, and Alberta targeted healthcare workers with a minimum CRS score of 305.
This week, 3 Canadian provinces—British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec—extended invitations to immigration candidates through their respective provincial nomination programs. All Canadian provinces and territories, except Nunavut and Quebec, use Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) to attract skilled immigrants.
PNPs allow provinces and territories to address labour market needs and demographic challenges by selecting immigrants best suited for their region. Quebec operates its own immigration system due to a special agreement with the federal government.
British Columbia: 2 Draws Conducted
On May 28, British Columbia held two draws through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). The first was a general draw in which 35 invitations were issued to candidates from 5 BCPNP streams, all requiring a minimum score of 131:
- Skilled Worker
- Skilled Worker – Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) option
- International Graduate
- International Graduate – EEBC option
- Entry Level and Semi-Skilled (minimum score of 110)
In addition, targeted draws focused on specific occupational categories, all from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams (including EEBC option) which are tabulated below:

Quebec: Results of April 25 Draw Released
Quebec published the results of a draw conducted on April 25, 2024, inviting 1,415 candidates to apply for permanent selection. Candidates were required to have:
- An oral proficiency in French at level 7 or higher on the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent
- A score of 598 points or higher
Additionally, candidates with French proficiency of level 7 or above and a valid job offer outside the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal were also invited. Recipients can now apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate, a prerequisite for applying for PR with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Alberta: May 1 Draw Results Announced
Alberta disclosed the results of its May 1 draw through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). The province issued 40 Notification of Interest (NOI) letters to candidates in the "dedicated healthcare pathway with Alberta job offer" category. All invited candidates had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 305.
