On November 28, 2025, IRCC conducted an Express Entry draw, issuing 6,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs). This invitation round was specifically focused on candidates demonstrating French language proficiency.
On November 28, 2025, IRCC extended invitations to several candidates with French language proficiency through the Express Entry system. In this focused round, the immigration department issued 6,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence in Canada.
To be eligible for this invitation:
- Candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 408.
- Must have created an Express Entry candidate profile before 12:28 p.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), on May 26, 2025.

IRCC’s latest French language proficiency draw on November 28 is the 8th such Express Entry Round for these candidates in 2025, associated with the third-largest draw of the year overall.
Francophone applicants have secured the highest number of invitations to apply (ITAs) via Express Entry in the past 11 months, reaching a total of 42,000 with this update.
These French proficiency draws have dominated the biggest Express Entry events this year, accounting for the seven largest with ITA numbers spanning from 7,500 to 4,500. This November 28 draw marks the sixth of the month, coming after a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) round on November 26, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on November 25, and a healthcare category selection on November 14.
So far in 2025, IRCC has extended 94,476 ITAs through the Express Entry system.
