Canada Issues 1,000 CEC Invitations in First Express Entry Draw of August 2025

Canada’s new Express Entry draw issued 1,000 ITAs for CEC candidates with a CRS score of 534. Find PNP & category-based draws, and more.
Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 1000 invitations to apply (ITAs) to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates in the first August 2025 draw.
Candidates had to meet the following requirements to be eligible for this draw:
- Minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score: 534
- Deadline to Create Express Entry Candidate Profile: 6:22 a.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), on August 3, 2025.

Summary of All Express Entry Draws in 2025
The newly released draw is the second of the month and follows a healthcare and social services category-based selection on July 22, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on July 21, and a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on July 8. So far, IRCC has issued 50,628 ITAs through the Express Entry system in 2025.
