Employer-Sponsored Visas

New nominations for the Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS), Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS), and Temporary Residence Transition (TRT) stream will require TSS holders to have worked in a relevant position for two out of the previous three years. This change is intended to ensure that skilled migrants have the necessary experience to contribute to the Australian economy.

Skilled Regional Visa subclass 887

Temporary concessions for Skilled Regional Visa subclass 887 applications will end on February 25, 2024. This means that applicants will no longer be able to lodge applications from outside Australia or meet shorter employment and regional residence requirements.

Family Visas

Certain COVID-19 concessions for Partner and Child visas will continue to apply to applicants who were in Australia during the concession period. However, these concessions will not apply to applicants who were not in Australia at any time during the period.

Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) Visas

COVID-19 concessions for Business Innovation and Investment Program Visas will end on February 26, 2024. BIIP applicants who are eligible to exercise these concessions must submit their applications by February 26, 2024.

Temporary Graduate Visa (TGV)
