Increased Nomination Allocations for AAIP in 2025
The AAIP recently received an increase to its Provincial Nomination allocations from the federal government for 2025 which increased its cap by 1,728 spots from the previous limit of 4,875 nominations to a brand new total of 6,603 nomination.
With this allocation boost Alberta has gained roughly 67% of its 2024 allocations of 9,750 nominations helping them partially restore the capacity it had before last year's cuts.
Also, the province made it clear that the allocations would not be carried forward over to 2026 which highlights that AAIP would have to utilise this increased spots throughout the reminder of the year in more immigration draws
