The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Express Entry draw issued 2,359 invitations for individuals to apply for provincial nominations with 15 designated tech occupations being invited through the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP).
This draw marked the highest number of invitations ever issued in a single OINP HCP draw and the second-highest overall among the 2023 OINP Express Entry draws.
Individuals with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging from 473 to 480 were granted invitations to apply for provincial nominations from Ontario.
In reference to the recent Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry draw, where candidates with experience in one of the 24 STEM occupations and a CRS score of 481 received direct invitations, the OINP used this as a benchmark. Consequently, candidates with CRS scores lower than 481 were extended invitations.
Eligibility For The OINP Draw
The eligibility for consideration in today's OINP draw included Express Entry profiles meeting the specified criteria that were created between December 14, 2022, and December 14, 2023.

Upon receiving an OINP nomination, these candidates will receive 600 points, which will boost their CRS score to between 1,073 and 1,080, ensuring their selection in the next Express Entry draw.
