Great news for Indian professionals! Germany's new immigration law opens doors for skilled workers seeking exciting opportunities, says Martin Dulig, The Saxon State Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour, and Transport.
The minister stated that Germany faces a skilled worker shortage estimated at 4 million nationally, including 400,000 in (1) Saxony alone.
The New immigration law enforced in Germany aims to attract skilled workers:
- Allows immigrants to bring their families
- Offers childcare support for working families
- Streamlined visa processing and (2)skill certificate recognition from India
- Simplifies the path to German citizenship

(1)Saxony is the 10th largest state in Germany that houses important industrial sectors in the automotive industry, electrical engineering, microelectronics, and metal production.
(2)As per the skill certificate recognition, if you are from outside the EU, hold 2 years of work experience, and hold a vocational or higher education qualification that is recognized, you will be eligible for a work visa.
