- Other freelancers in educational, legal, medical and creative fields
Requirements for Freelance Visa
- A valid passport issued within the last 10 years, and with two blank pages
- Proof of financial means approximately EUR 1,280 per month
- Health insurance valid in Germany
- Proof of freelance work and qualifications, like a university degree
- A detailed freelance business plan
- Professional contacts in Germany or Europe
- Recent CV
- Passport size photo (not older than six months)
- If over 45 years old, proof of retirement provisions
- Visa application fees of EUR 75 (INR 7,486)
How to Apply for German Freelance Visa?
Step 1: Fill out the National D Visa application form and print a copy
Step 2: Schedule an appointment with the German embassy or consulate in your country (Ex, German Missions in India)
Step 3: Gather all necessary documents ensuring they meet the language and format requirements
Step 4: Submit your application and biometric data in person at the consulate
Step 5: Once approved, you will receive a 3 to 6-month National D Visa
