Canada Issues 192 PR Invitations in Fourth Express Entry Draw of August 2025

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued a total of 192 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system. This draw for candidates in Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) was held on August 18, 2025. Notably, the CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 800, while the rank requirement was 192 or above.
This was the fourth Express Entry draw in August 2025, and the second PNP draw of the month. This is how it stands out:
- The CRS cutoff score (800) is the second-highest in 2025 to date, slightly below the February 4 draw cutoff (802).
- The CRS cutoff increased by 61 points compared to the previous PNP draw on August 6.

- Draws Focus: PNP, CEC (Canadian Experience Class), French-language proficiency, and priority occupations (notably healthcare and education).
- Average CRS for PNP: Significantly higher than other categories.
Process of Express Entry Application (Post-ITA)
- After receiving an ITA, candidates have to submit a complete application within 60 days, including supporting documents like police clearance, medical, and proof of funds.
- The Average application processing time is 6 months.
- PNP candidates must fulfil the specific requirements of the nominating province.
