The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) program aims to attract and retain talented International students who have a strong connection to the province and are able to contribute to the Ontario economy.

Under the latest OINP draw 620 Invites were sent out to EOI (Expression of Interest) Profiles with a score of 82 under the Employer Job offer: International Student Stream.

This draw considered EOIs created with the OPNP between November 22, 2022, and January 24, 2023.

The last OINP conducted on January 10, 2023, invited 404 applicants under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream.

What are the Eligibility criteria for OPNP Employer Job offer: International Student Stream

1. Job Offer: The applicant must have a valid job offer in a skilled occupation at TEER Category 0, 1, 2, 3 from an Ontario employer. The job offer must be for full-time and meet the prevailing occupation wage.
2. Work Experience: The applicant must have a minimum of 12 months of full-time work experience in the same occupation as the job offer, within the last three years.
3. Education: The applicant must have graduated from a publicly-funded Canadian college or university in Ontario with a degree or diploma from OINP approved institution
4. Language: The applicant must meet the language requirements for their occupation.
5. Intention to live in Ontario: The applicant must intend to live and work in Ontario permanently.
6. Legal Status: The applicant must be legally able to work in Canada and must have a valid study permit or have graduated under a post-graduation work permit.
