Saskatchewan held its first PNP draw of the year on February 16, 2023. 420 new invitations for permanent residency are sent to qualified applicants from two separate streams. Applicants from both Express Entry and Occupation-In-Demand streams are required to score at least 84 to be qualified for the program. The cut-off score has been increased to 4 points compared to the previous draw.
In this draw, Saskatchewan has invited occupations from the list of 104 NOC codes (based on TEER). Let’s see the overview and the eligibility criteria for the SINP.

SINP has decided to invite candidates from the 104 occupations under the Occupation-In-Demand stream.

To apply for the SINP under either stream of Express Entry or Occupation-In-Demand, you will need to score at least 84 on your profile based on the SINP Assessment grid.
The point is calculated based on your
- Age
- Work Experience in the relevant field
- Education and training background
- Language ability and
- Connection to the Saskatchewan labour market.
Candidates can directly apply for the Saskatchewan Provincial Nomination Program under either the Express Entry stream or the Occupation-in-Demand stream, even if they are living and working outside of Canada. Make sure you are eligible for the SNIP by following the eligibility criteria as decided by the SINP authorities.
